Secretary Aubrey Humphrey
Mrs. Aubrey Humphrey takes care of the church office, many church records, and serves as our financial secretary. An active member of Summit Church, Mrs. Humphrey brings a great attitude to her work at Magnolia, and is a key in keeping our ministry on task! She goes "above and beyond" the call of duty, and she and her family have volunteered several times in support of our outreach events. Although she is terribly afraid of spiders and snakes, Aubrey can still answer your questions and point you in the right direction. Please note that she keeps limited office hours during the week, and is extremely busy, so please leave a good message if she can't answer the phone!
Mrs. Karen Staley
Mrs. Staley assists volunteers with our Children's ministry activities outside of the Sunday School program. Mrs. Staley is an Exceptional Children’s Teacher at Franklinville Elementary School. This means she programs for developmentally delayed children, and works closely with their families. Previously she was an Applied Behavior Analyst with A Bridge to Learning. She has also served as a full-time nanny and family assistant. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UNC-G. Her Provisional Initial Education Licensure is lateral entry through ECU/UNCC/NCCU in Special Education: Adapted Curriculum. She has mentored for NC Augmentative Communication Association, and is certified by the Crisis Prevention Institute, Inc.
Dr. Dan Skidmore
Dr. Skidmore coordinates our music and accompanies us on the piano during worship services and choir rehearsals. Mr. Skidmore is currently the concertmaster of the Salisbury Symphony and the associate concertmaster of the Winston-Salem Symphony. He holds a D.M.A. in violin performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and is an adjunct violin and viola professor at Elon University and Catawba College. Mr. Skidmore also arranges music for string quartet, other chamber ensembles, and orchestra.
